Julie Faas is the Operations Manager for Intrepid Financial. She has been with the firm since October 1999 and oversees all client account activity including processing trades, distributions, and transfer requests. She remains the main point of contact for our custodian, Charles Schwab. Julie also processes and generates billing statements for all of our clients on a quarterly basis. She is a licensed Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) through Intrepid Financial, and is always available to assist current and prospective clients with any account needs.
Julie attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan and received her Bachelor's degree in business. She is married to her husband, John, and they have two sons and a daughter - Jonathan, Justin, and Jamie. John is a Teacher/Coach at Carmel Clay Schools. Together, they enjoy running, fishing each summer in Minnesota, and being first-time grandparents.
As a life-long resident of Carmel, Julie remains passionate about Carmel High School athletics. Between her and her husband, John, they have been a part of 24 Indiana State Championship teams. Julie holds 11 of those, as a player in 1988, and as a coach in 1994, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2011, and 2018 for the Carmel High School girl's soccer team. John has been a coach for 13 state championship teams in four different sports - boy's basketball (2012, 2013), girl's golf (2013), girl's tennis (1990, 2021, 2022, & 2023), and boy's tennis (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025) all at Carmel High School.
